The Second Prize was awarded to Team Naroma – a fragrance brand developed from research at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, with the initial mission of creating safer scent solutions for individuals with sensitive skin or respiratory concerns. What sets Naroma apart is its application of nano water-based technology in perfume production – a pioneering approach still relatively new in Vietnam.
Although Naroma is a young brand in the market, it presents a distinctive perspective in perfumery – where science, safety, and user experience are placed on equal footing with the emotional value of scent. The integration of academic research and practical application demonstrates the growth potential of university-originated ventures, particularly in the beauty and personal care industry in Vietnam.
